Teeth/dentist problem....?

I am 15 and have REALLY bad teeth, I have what I call vampire teeth (They are up in my gum) and besides that my teeth are not straight at all!! I have been to the ortho. once and then my parents got new insurance and now there is only one regular dentist in my town that takes my parents insurance and they don't take new patiants so what should my parents do??

Teeth/dentist problem....?
i think your parents should have their priorities straight. and that is to get you some help. a set of braces in america can run up to $3,500. and its something that is worth doing. if your parents are working, then maybe both of them can file under different insurances.

Reply:Tough question. I tend to think your best bet is to study hard in school so you can get a good paying job and get braces later; or get a summer job to pay for the braces yourself. If you go with the latter option, call an orthodontist's office, tell them what you plan to do, and ask them for their advice on payment plans, etc. (though I would prefer you saved it and paid it down). Best wishes.
Reply:you may need to go to another dentist in another town.....these days it is hard to find a dentist locally since a lot of dentists are picky about the insurance's that are out there. You may need to search one out your area.......that is just a reflection of what a sad state oh how things are these days when it comes trying to see a doctor or dentist....Insurance and Oil companies run this country.

Good luck sweetie.
