I was hearing today again about the vampire bats and I thought of you guys. I still think bats are like my punk and goth brothers. Spikey hair and sharp teeth and flying around with attitudes. But, did you know that they are so cool ? They of course suck blood and when they attach themselves to the animals they have a built in anastetic that numbs the flesh so the animal wont feel the puncture wound and they will be able to just hang there and drink without discomforting the host. The teacher said its kind of like a dentist numbing the patients mouth before drilling. Isnt that sooo cool and unique ? I mean wow! What a testimony to a great Creator! He...Jesus..built in an anastetic into the animal. It is Gods " designer custom equipment " built in at the creation. Isnt that cool ! Bats are born with designer outfits on! Love, your favorite Christian...little morphing annie....

Interesting, but no proof of God. The simple fact is that if the animal could feel the bat drinking, the bat would have a much harder time finding willing victims. The anesthetic allows the bat to drink as much blood as it wants without arousing the suspicion of the host animal. If God were trying to make it less painful for the host animal, the anesthetic would be permanent, but it isn't. It wears off and the host not only can feel the pain but also, I would imagine, is very woozy from the loss of all that blood. Not as great a thing as you assume.
