Reply:i have some awesome fangs that stay in place all day. They are by a brand called scarecrow and you custom fit them once, and then from there you can pop them back in and out whenever u want to. They dont fall out or nothing like that and they look really real. And you can close your mouth and talk normally with them. i bought them on ebay, just search scarecrow vampire fangs and they are usually priced at $9.95 + $3.85 shipping. Alot cheaper and safer then dental surgery, if even possible.

Should Wal-Mart change it's simley face logo to something with sharp teeth.. Like a vampire ?
LOL!!!
I despise, and I mean DESPISE Wal-Mart. If there were some other place around here that was comparable, I would never step foot in their parking lot, let alone their store again.
On the flip side of that, once I get in there, I can't leave in under an hour - no matter what I went there to buy. But, I don't see a contradiction there... Why? Because my real problem with them is the service when I go to leave. It's horrendous! Half the time, the only thing a cashier says to you is how much your change is. They also have no concept of scheduling - otherwise, I would not be in line for twenty minutes - one minute for every lane that is not open!
In that light, I think that the smiley should maybe be rolling his eyes and giving you the finger.

So dialectically the symbol shifts in our mind.. of course there are lots of examples like this.. I think the "Happy Meal" at McDonald's is pretty notorious, and its cast of characters, happy and bright and full of life in such a way it's psychotic.
We become vampires, or say even a subset of people embrace the contrarian value set: Goth. It's actually in fashion in Japan now. But there you have it, there's a dominating culture which puts smiley faces under beeming flourescent lights in warehouses filled with waste and irate employees.. so a subculture forms to take opposing values-- instead of the day which is tyrannical, oppressive (everyone has school or works), even the sun burns our skin-- the night is valued, all the romantic metaphors apply. It's about coming to love that darkness as a place of freedom from the psychotic lies of happiness and consumerism, of coming to actually LIVE in that contradictory place -- the cold and empty, using the time that others have for passive dreaming to dance, to be wild, to expose yourself and display your energy. Of course it's hopelessly contrarian and just part of the machine~~ I'm not painting my nails anytime soon, but I understand the need for a style of the night.

There are dentists who will be willing to file your teeth to make them look like vampire fangs, but it is definately not recommended. Such actions are not only permenant, but can also damage your teeth if not done well and if not properly cared for afterwards.
If you were willing to (or able to) afford having your teeth sharpened, I would recommend you seek out the services of a fangsmith. Fangsmiths make custom vampire teeth for individuals. The teeth can be worn almost any time, and are very sturdy. One of the more popular fang smiths is Dnash, of Teeth by Dnash.
He has over twenty-five styles of fangs which he creates personally for each person. The fangs are not implants, however, but caps, which are custom made for each customer. These fangs can be put in and removed very easily, but are created of high quality material so they will last for a long time. Basically, they are like removable caps for your teeth. He makes them to be removable so you won't damage them when eating (and you won't HAVE to wear them to work or the family reunion, unless you just want to).
Dnash works from a professional dentists cast of your teeth (upper and/or lower casts), so each fang will fit snug in your mouth. He can either make the cast of your mouth in his studio, during one of his Fang Tours, or you can send him made by your own dentist. His fangs aren't cheap, though. They run about $100 per set - plus, if you don't go to his studio or have it done on one of his tours, you have the added expenses of paying your dentist for a full mouth cast.

Ah, i always dreamed of having vampire fangs too. The way to do them, unless you're looking for something permanent, is to buy a kit that has customizing fit. All you do is buy the kit and it gives you directions to make a mini mold of your teeth so that you get the perfect fit, unlike the kits that just have some glue and a cap that "might" fit the teeth you want to put the fangs on. The custom fit kits will take a few minutes, but you only need to fit them once ever, and you can use them again and again for years. I recommend the original vampire fangs (dental fit) by Scarecrow. These fangs are great basic fangs, not too short, not too long. You can also get a second pair for the bottom teeth if you'd like. You can also get these glow-in-the-dark for like $2-$3 more per pair. They don't look greenish like other glow-in-the-dark stuff either-- they don't look any different than the regular fangs. The glow ones look awesome in black light. Scarecrow also offers extra long fangs, double fangs, warewolf fangs, etc, but don't get the chrome ones because they look fake as hell. The different fangs range in price from about $15 to $35, but considering you can use them again and again, it's a steal.

You can also get these glow-in-the-dark for like $2-$3 more per pair. They don't look greenish like other glow-in-the-dark stuff either-- they don't look any different than the regular fangs. The glow ones look awesome in black light. Scarecrow also offers extra long fangs, double fangs, warewolf fangs, etc, but don't get the chrome ones because they look fake as hell. The different fangs range in price from about $15 to $35, but considering you can use them again and again, it's a steal.

I suppose if you have implants already you could get fanglike canines installed instead of the usual, but that would seriously cost you.
As for the rest -- skintone and all that -- that's just makeup.
Clothing color -- that's all you hon, but if you want to look Goth or Emo in particular, Google it. You'll find loads of examples. Please note, however, that wearing all white is doable as well; it camoflages pale skin, but it can also stain, and blood is notoriously hard to remove.
In terms of lifestyle, hon, I don't recommend it. I know how to portray one, but I know when to take off the blacks, toss them aside and have a life. I hope you do, too.

I took time to do my nails as black nail polish seems to to be a vampire thing. I had my nails kinda long as well.

Ok,I bought these moldable Custom Dracula teeth(http://www.draculafangs.com/index.htm) from a store in my city,but I lost the instructions paper.I can't find it and I'm sure it's lost.The mold is made with alpha 1 thermal plastic.I remember it said something about using olive oil in your hands,and putting the plastic in boiling water so it can melt.Can someone give me the instructions for how to do this?I am VERY desperate since the fangs were $12 so i don't know what do do.PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Refer to diagrams and perform a test run before commencement to ensure positioning of the tooth cap is correct in direction and facing.(1)
1. Clean and place the mould into warm water for a few minutes.
2. As a guide, when flexible or elastic, bring out and coat with olive oil so that it does not stick to the gums. (Feel the object for softness/pliability.)
3. Place around your front ridge of the teeth to anchor the tooth cap body to the ridges and depressions and real tooth in the mouth. Press to shape extrusions.
4. Bite gently into the mould repeatedly to allow the real teeth to extend into the cavity to displace the soft mould.
5. Once satisfactorily moulded onto the teeth and ridge, allow to cool and harden and become anchored to the tooth cap.
6. To remove, carefully and gently remove from inside the teeth. The tooth cap is reuseable.

Why are the top cuspid/canine teeth (the 'vampire' teeth) often slightly more yellow than other teeth?
I have noticed that the top cuspid/canine teeth are commonly slightly more yellow than the other teeth. Perhaps these teeth have lest contact with the inner mouth hence less mositure from saliva.

Canines are the most massive of your anterior teeth. Much more dentin in them, which is yellow.
Remember, tooth enamel is not completely opaque. It is somewhat translucent.

Reply:It's probably more due to the shape of the tooth and the location on the arch. The canines have a much larger embrasure space than incisor teeth, making them a little harder to brush. Also, they're at a position where most people end up switching toothbrush head direction, so they often do not get cleansed as well. Because of this, dentists and hygienists can sometimes guess your handedness based on plaque accumulation.
